Refund Policy

We’ve all been there:

The rush of excitement as you head to the check-out, add in your shipping details and hit ‘pay now’. Then the waiting that follows, eagerly anticipating that PING! on your phone to say, “Your parcel is on its way!”. Until, finally, you get it! But…it’s not quite what you expected.

Don’t worry, we get it. Sometimes things just don’t work out.

And at OutsideIn we want to help make those not-quite-rights an easy, quick and hassle-free experience for you.

Our customers are important to us so whatever you need, we’re here to help.

Repairs

We love our planet, and want to do the best we can to keep it looking wonderful for everyone. With that in mind, we are trying to become more sustainable across all aspects of our company. In order to do this, we’re trying to prevent garments being thrown away unnecessarily without first trying to repair them.

Where an item has become damaged, broken or just worn out we will always offer the possibility of a repair by our wonderful Fashion Technicians in Belfast.

If your product has a minor cosmetic flaw in it, get in touch with us and we will do our absolute best to try and get it as close to the standard that you purchased it as we can and send it straight back to you. Send us a picture of the issue and our Customer Service Team will liaise with our Production Team to see whether a repair will be possible. If a repair is possible, then the next step is to get the garment to us.

As soon as we get the garment, our team will get right to work on repairing it. Oncee it is repaired and looking fantastic again we will ship it back to you free of charge!


Exchanges

Here’s the thing, sometimes you order something, and you LOVE it, but it just doesn’t feel quite right, so you want a different size or colour. We got you covered! Exchanges couldn’t be easier at OutsideIn.

To get a excahnge on an item, it will need to meet the following criteria before we can approve it:
- For all exchanges, items must be unworn and returned in their original state.
- All refunds require proof of purchase.
- We cannot accept the return of sale items, Giving store items, sticker packs, patches or pins. Shipping cost is also non-refundable. We can also only accept returned socks provided they have not been worn or tried on and the packaging is still intact.
- Items for exchange have to be returned back to us within two weeks of the date they were shipped from

Simply send the item back to us and include a note in your package stating your reason for exchange, email address, name you ordered under, and order ID.
Then simply pop in the product that you would like to exchange it for and as soon as we have it, your new product will be sent out to you that day…excluding weekends!

We kindly ask that you cover the cost of shipping the product back to us. You can do this by going to your local shipping carrier's branch and paying for postage back to us at whatever rate and method you choose. We do however recommend that you pay insurance as you are liable for any damages to the goods until they reach us.

In addition to this, we also ask that you cover the cost of us shipping the new product back to you. You can do this by clicking here.

Stock for exchanges can only be guaranteed on the day your package has been returned.


Refunds

We know that sometimes you will want a refund instead of a repair or exchange. It's okay...we get it. Whislt we understand the reasons why you may want a refund, it means your clothing purchase will no longer have an impact on someone experiencing homelessness, but we'll do our best to resolve the issue for you.

To get a refund on an item, it will need to meet the following criteria before we can approve it:
- For all refunds, items must be unworn and returned in their original state.
- All refunds require proof of purchase.
- For any items that have a manufacturing flaw, please email us with imagery and details of the issue prior to returning the item.
- We cannot accept the return of sale items, Giving store items, sticker packs, patches or pins. Shipping cost is also non-refundable. We can also only accept returned socks provided they have not been worn or tried on and the packaging is still intact.
- Items for refund have to be returned back to us within two weeks of the date they were shipped from


If your item does not match the above conditions, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to process your refund.

To send your items back, please carefully follow the instructions below:

  1. Neatly package your item and include a note with your full name, order number, and the item refund
  2. Please also state whether you have requested an exchange or a refund within the note.
  3. Send the item to our address:

When we have received your item we will seek to process your refund as soon as possible. However please note that it can take up to 14 days for your refund to appear back in your account.

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please note we are not able to cover the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made.

 


FAQ's

Can I change or cancel my order?
Order cancellations or address changes must be stated in full within 2 hours of purchase otherwise it may not be possible to ammend the order.

How do I know that my request has been actioned?
Any returns will be actioned as soon as they reach us at OutsideIn and you will be notified when an exchange has been created or a refund has been actioned.
However, if you wish to contact a member of our Customer Service Team, you can reach out via email at help@weareoi.com. We will seek to respond to all requests within 24 hours of a ticket being raised during UK working hours (9am-5pm).

Can I return products purchased in a store to the online store?
Unfortunately all products purchased in store must be returned to the store that they were made from.
