COVID-19 Update

To our amazing friends, family and followers.

There is no doubt that the past few weeks have impacted all of our lives in ways we never could have imagined coming into the start of 2020. Despite the fear, uncertainty for what lies ahead, if one thing we can all hold onto, it’s hope. We only have to look through history to moments of despair to see how hope of a better future brought people together, to know that present circumstances would not define their future. So we want to encourage you all that by coming together (even virtually) we will overcome these difficult times through the power of hope.

We have been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks at the Oi headquarters to ensure the safety of both staff and our customers. Your health comes first. So we started off the month by cancelling all events and started working from home. This has definitely made an interesting approach to our 11am team meetings, which mainly consist of Marc playing his guitar to keep everyone motivated. Our online store remains OPEN. This has meant a lot of changes at the offices with procedures to ensure social distancing, hygiene and safety when packaging your orders. So big big thanks to the team who are ensuring that this is still possible.

As you all know OutsideIn was built on the ‘Wear One, Share One’ concept to empower customers to stop, connect and spread hope with those who are homeless. Having spoken to local homeless charities and our street team, we have taken the decision to put the ‘Wear One, Share One’ on hold until the time is right to reintroduce it. Homeless charities are still in need of giving products across the globe and therefore all products will be donated on your behalf to one of our partnered homeless charities for the foreseeable future.

What does the future look like for OutsideIn? We can’t look further than our tagline ‘Hope Sweet Hope.’ The team spirit during this time has been amazing! When someone is having a tough day everyone rallies round to help, it’s more than just a team, it’s family. The hope that we show each other as a team is the hope that we want to communicate to everyone in society. So from our homes across Northern Ireland, we are working away on new designs, bright colours and new ways to spread hope during this time.

Being an independent company, we rely so much on your support and for that we are truly grateful over the past few weeks.

Stay Home. Keep Safe. Spread Hope.

Are you making face masks? There might be a chance the uk government encourages us to wear faces masks in shops and on public transport as we come out of lockdown.
